Cake — Chocolate Kailua

Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate cake mix (any kind)
  • 1 small chocolate instant pudding
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 large package chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup warm water or Kahlua
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

For the glaze (optional)

  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 6 tablespoons butter

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Grease and flour a bundt pan and pour in the batter.
  3. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
  4. Remove from the pan when the cake is completely cool.
  5. Dust with powdered sugar.
  6. For the optional glaze, melt the semi-sweet chocolate and butter together, then drizzle over the cake.

  • Exceptionally good and easy to make.
  • Glaze optional.
