Cake — Mom's Banana

Ingredients
- 2 cups cake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup mashed banana
- 3/4 cup sour milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Method
- Sift flour, baking powder, soda, and salt together.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Beat in egg.
- Add mashed banana and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients and sour milk alternately.
- Bake in 9-inch layer pans at 375° for 25–30 minutes.
Tips & Notes
- Best with butter cream frosting.
