Cranberry Dish
Ingredients
- 3 cans whole cranberry sauce
- 5 Pippin apples (peeled, bite size)
- 3/4 sticks butter or margarine
- 1/2 cups honey (or less)
- 3 cups oatmeal
Method
- In a bowl, mix together the butter, honey, and oatmeal until oatmeal is moist.
- Put cranberry sauce in the bottom of a Pyrex casserole (12x7"); add apple chunks. Spread oatmeal mixture on top. Bake uncovered at 350°F until the topping is golden and the fruit is bubbling, about 35–45 minutes.
Tips & Notes
- This is basically a warm cranberry dish.
