Cranberry-Orange Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds cranberries
  • 2 packages cherry Jell-O
  • 4 whole oranges
  • 3 cups sugar
  • Boiling water

Method

  1. Grind 2 pounds cranberries; put 1/2 of the berries in a pan with 3 cups of sugar and 1/2 cup water.
  2. Boil for a few minutes, then turn off the heat.
  3. Dissolve the cherry Jell-O in 1 1/2 cups boiling water and add to the cooked mixture.
  4. Add the oranges that have been ground with their skin, along with the remaining ground cranberries.
  5. Chill.
