Grandma Carmel’s Scalloped Potatoes

Grandma Carmel's. She wrote 'spuds' on the card. We had it most Sundays.
Ingredients
- 6 spuds
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Pepper
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 1/2 cups milk
Method
- Layer the spuds with the chopped onion and 1 tablespoon of the flour, plus salt, pepper, and butter; add another layer of spuds.
- Add the remaining flour to the top. Scald the milk and pour it over the pan.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and continue baking at 350° for 1 hour.
