Gulash
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Onion
- 2 cups water
- 5 teaspoons paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- Bay leaf
- 1 clove garlic
- Egg noodles, for serving
Method
- Cut the stew meat into approximately 1-inch cubes.
- Dust the beef with the flour.
- Brown the beef in the olive oil.
- Add the onion and cook approximately 5 minutes.
- Add the water, paprika, salt, bay leaf, and garlic.
- Cover and simmer approximately 2 hours.
- Serve over egg noodles.
