Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon grated onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Dash cinnamon

Method

  1. Peel and grate the potatoes, then squeeze them well to remove excess liquid.
  2. Beat the eggs in a large bowl.
  3. Add the grated potatoes, grated onion, flour, salt, pepper, baking powder, and cinnamon to the eggs, and mix to form a batter.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the pan, flatten slightly, and cook until golden brown on both sides, working in batches.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
