Background

No idea where the name comes from. It's Connie's pot roast with pineapple juice and soy sauce. Good the next day.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 (12-ounce) can pineapple juice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger
  • 2 large onions

Method

  1. Mix the pineapple juice, soy sauce, and ginger and pour over the meat.
  2. Slice the onions and put them on top.
  3. Bake in a covered roaster in a 325° oven for 3 hours.
  4. If desired, add potatoes and carrots 1 hour before serving.
