Background
No idea where the name comes from. It's Connie's pot roast with pineapple juice and soy sauce. Good the next day.
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 pounds chuck roast
- 1 (12-ounce) can pineapple juice
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger
- 2 large onions
Method
- Mix the pineapple juice, soy sauce, and ginger and pour over the meat.
- Slice the onions and put them on top.
- Bake in a covered roaster in a 325° oven for 3 hours.
- If desired, add potatoes and carrots 1 hour before serving.
