Mom's Banana Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups cake flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda (listed as 'soda')
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cups butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup mashed banana
- 3/4 cups sour milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Method
- Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt together.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Beat in egg.
- Add mashed banana.
- Add alternately dry ingredients and sour milk.
- Add vanilla. Bake in 9" layer pans at 375° for 25-30 min. Best with butter cream frosting.
