Noodle Kugel

Ingredients

  • 1 pound broad noodles
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Cinnamon to taste

Method

  1. Boil the noodles, then drain.
  2. Combine the cottage cheese, sour cream, eggs, vanilla, butter, raisins, warm milk, and sugar with the drained noodles.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a well-greased casserole dish.
  4. Top with a cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  5. Bake at 375° (or 350°) until browned.
