Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 8-inch pie shell
- 1 1/4 cups pecan halves
- 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cups butter (melted)
Method
- Spread nuts in bottom of pie shell.
- Beat eggs. Add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla & butter.
- Pour filling over pecans.
- Bake at 450° for 10 minutes then turn oven down to 325° and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven, cool, cut, eat, be happy.
