Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 8-inch pie shell
- 1 1/4 cups pecan halves
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Method
- Spread the pecans in the bottom of the pie shell.
- Beat the eggs; add the sugar, corn syrup, salt, and butter.
- Pour the filling over the pecans.
- Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then reduce the oven to 325° and bake 30 minutes more.
- Remove from the oven; cool, cut, eat, be happy.
