Pie — Pecan

Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 8" pie shell
- 1 1/4 cups pecan halves
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Method
- Spread the pecans in the bottom of the pie shell.
- Beat the eggs.
- Add the sugar, dark corn syrup, salt, vanilla, and melted butter to the beaten eggs and stir to combine.
- Pour the filling over the pecans.
- Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then turn the oven down to 325° and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, cool, cut, eat, be happy.
